![]() ![]() The post in the other forum explaining it is. It creates a detailed probabilistic model of noise (pixel value errors) and then uses that to constrain texture synthesis enhancement processing. It's gone largely unnoticed over in the Photographic Science and Technology forum, but I recently put up a new test version of KREMY (pronounced "creamy"), KentuckY Raw Error Modeler. With some additional post-processing work, this can be pushed another stop or more. Prior to using DxO, the problem with pushing my Canon M6ii images to ISOs above ISO 1600 was grain and noise that was almost impossible to remove.ĭxO can preserve an amazing amount of detail and color for me, removing all noise and grain - cleanly - right up to about ISO 8000. However - this all became much less of a concern for me when I discovered DxO PhotoLab 4 and its excellent Deep Prime de-noise for processing RAW files. ![]()
